Elizaveta Ostapenko / Updates

Hello everyone!

It was quite a long time since my last post, but now I am back to share some updates with you.

From the beginning of the pandemic, I was working on my Quarantine Sketchbook project, revisiting my photo-archive and translating it into small paintings. You can see some of them following the link.

As soon as I got access to my studio back, I decided to enlarge one of the sketches to a bigger scale. I am very happy to share the final piece with you. It is painted with acrylic on cardboard, 138х108 cm.

Please leave your feedback in the comments below. I would be very happy to hear back from you!

If you want to find out more about my work, you can visit my website and follow me on Instagram.

Have a great day!

I like the final works. The shifting of material within the space evokes a transitional and temporal feeling like a change is happening. I also like the subtle earthly tones of the color palette. Definitely liking the tonal shifts and I enjoy how clean and the vibrant the pieces are. Thanks for sharing.
