BoRis Moz is a pseudonym, I was born in 1987. In Russia, male names cannot be used for women, but for me these letters are an important abbreviation. Mostly I prefer to work with mosaics, but also I often use acrylics to work with canvases. I make mosaic sculptures and paintings from smalt and marble. In my art you can find eyes that in turn are the characters representing the residents of the metropolis. Their seeking worried eyes are in search for the desired. Three years ago, I met my muse, who captivated me by her eyes, that inspired a new stage of my art, and I was unspeakably glad about that.
I accidentally got into the creative industry 8 years ago. One weekend I went to help my friend with mosaics in a workshop. That was the day I realized that if you work in this life, it is only in the creative industry, when your heart is filled with colors, shapes and textures, everything has a completely different meaning. But it is difficult to be a creator, I do not have a special education for this. I had to overcome many obstacles on my way through perseverance. I studied directly in the mosaic workshop and, as needed, I learned the necessary skills for work. It has been two years since I discovered the world of contemporary art and felt closeness and affinity with it. I was born in warm and good-natured Tashkent. It is the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan. I grew up there and graduated from the institute, studied to be a FEA manager. I always dreamed of visiting Russia, the homeland of my ancestors, and moved here in 2009. To this day I live and work in Moscow.
