Sisters Hope is an award-winning performance group that works with the fundamental ambition to open the sensuous and poetic and make it accessible to as many people as possible. Our work operates at the intersection of performance art, education, research and poetic activism. We use sound, light and scenography, as well as interactive performance art to transform cultural institutions, schools, the city and beyond into immersive, sensuous and poetic landscapes. Our work is based on a potential future society - The Sensuous Society - where the sensuous and poetic form the base for all action and interaction. We work with deep and extensive performative concepts, where we evoke visions of a future society that puts the sensuous and poetic mode of being at the centre of all actions. Through our performance method, we offer participants in our manifestations a transformative experience that can open for new ways of understanding and being in the world.
