Being Present with Past Work (& Artist as Object), Cynthia Fusillo

Starting with the Pandemic I had to “look at what I had” within my studio and within myself. I am still bringing out of storage works(ideas, thoughts) from past years and marrying these works with new ones . In the process of combining old and new works in a “composite” I am finding new meanings, new futures. My intention in these images is accompany my work acting as another object or image in the composition.

    Thank you for sharing!
    The photos look very harmonic.

Was the black head work made by etching, collage or gouache?
    So simple and so attracting!

      Hello Nazar! Thanks
the black head is actually a 1/2 sculpture(mask) made of clay and dirt

Hi, Cynthia! It’s great to get to know your graphic works. Somehow everything looks so harmonic and looks so natural together — your old and new works. They all speak the same language.
