Stella Baraklianou (GR/UK) Nocturne, 2018

It is a great opportunity to participate on the online edition of Transpositions – Since we cannot be in St. Petersburg, nevertheless we can still experience some scenes from the city in our short experimental film “Nocturne” The work was an ode to the work of John Field, composer of the first known Nocturnes. Inspired by the white nights he composed these in St. Petersburg and Moscow. The work was a collaborative project between Katelyn Clark and myself, made also thanks to the generous support of SPAR!
